Kyoto is situated on the island of Honshu and the area has been inhabited since the 7th century. All things related to Kyoto are reminiscent of the fairy tales for Japan which makes it really magical place. As the seat of traditional Japanese culture, Kyoto is place where important events are held on the history of Japan. In this city 17 sites are under UNESCO protection. Also it can be seen 1,600 Buddhist temples and 400 Shinto shrines. Kyoto is a city where you will find the real Japan. Zen gardens, cottages among bamboos, geishas and golden temples floating on water –those are parts of this magic city. Indeed every thing about Kyoto resemble to those popular images from Japan that are engraved in our fantasies.

In the area of Kyoto prevailing wet subtropical climate, with very frequent seasonal variations in temperature and precipitation. Summers are hot and wet, while winters are cold with occasional snowfall. The rainy season begins in mid-June and lasts until the end of July. The second half of the year is warm and sunny. Due to the Pacific coast that goes on, the area of Kyoto in September and October is exposed on Typhoon. Most visited and most famous tourist attractions in Kyoto are Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Higashiyama district, famous Gion geisha district and so many.
