Madeira, Portugal

Madeira is a Portuguese island, archipelago that is located in the Atlantic Ocean. Its capital is Funchal that is a small city located on the southern coast. The total population of the island is about 268.000 people. It is such an important Portuguese place as it is visited yearly by about one million people all over the world. It is located very close to the Spanish islands of Tenerife and the Canary Islands. Madeira is well known for its wine, the gastronomy, the flora and fauna and the friendly local people.

Akdamar Island, Turkey

Akdamar Island is the second largest and one of the most famous islands in Lake Van. It is located in in Eastern Turkey in the province of Van. Its coastline is about 2 km long but what makes this place special is its landscapes and views. The most famous spot of the island is the Holy Cross Cathedral that is a must see place.

Menton, France

Menton is a French commune located in Southwestern France. It is situated on the French Riviera, very close to the border with Italy. The people gave this place the nickname ‘’Perle de la France” which means “Pearl of France”. Most of the visitors come here to admire the coast of the Mediterranean Sea which is spectacular for night walks and peaceful nights by the sea. This city has a population of about 30.000 inhabitants and it’s very famous for its gardens. One of the most famous are Jardin Serre de la Madone, Jardin botanique exotique de Menton and Fontana Rosa.
