Tokyo is the capital of Japan also known as Tokyo Metropolis. It is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. Prior to 1868 it was known as Edo. The name Tokyo was given when the emperor and the capital moved from Kyoto to Edo. Tokyo in fact means Eastern Capital. Today referred as city, in fact it is a metropolitan prefecture and it is consisted of more cities, villages and districts.
Traveling to Tokyo means you will have great time. First it is a big shopping center, great nightlife, green parks and many more places you can spend your time. Traveling inside Tokyo is easy. Mostly by fast trains.
All in one, Tokyo is a city where you can’t find any dirt. The people are nice and positive and you will not have any problems. In the city you will find many anime pictures and great cosplays.
