Cave of the Winds hides many unusual limestone formations. Despite being underground for most of your time at this natural attraction, you’ll still be about 7,000 feet above sea level. If you’re new to caving, you may want to start with the Discovery Tour or the Lantern Tour. When you’re ready for something more adventurous, reserve your spot for a Caving 101 experience. Just be ready to climb, crawl and squeeze through small spaces. Cave of the Winds offers above-ground beauty as well. Guided tours provide opportunities to explore cliffs and canyons by foot or zip line.

Jeep Riding in Estes Park
Famous for Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park boasts a host of spectacular views. If you’re looking for a great place to reconnect with nature, renting a cabin in Estes Park is the way to go for a truly authentic Rocky Mountain experience. Although many trails are accessible by foot, Jeep rentals allow you to access some of this region’s rougher terrain. On an unguided Jeep tour, you may spot waterfalls, meadows, moose, or black bears. There are many spots to pull off for hikes or photos. If you’re an experienced driver, you can try navigating cliff edges or water crossings. Some of the best Jeep trails for beginners include Bright Trail and Johnny Park Loop. Old Fall River Road through the National Park is another good choice. For a more daring drive, try Middle Saint Vrain.
Red Rocks Hiking in Littleton
Roxborough State Park is home to impressive red sandstone formations that tower above the earth at interesting angles. The remarkable topography has earned the park recognition as a National Natural Landmark. There are about 14 miles of trails within the state park. The Fountain Valley Trail is recommended for overlook views of the well-known Fountain Formation.
