Brasilia – World Cup 2014 Hosting City

Brasilia is the capital city of Brazil. It was founded on April 21, 1960 to serve as a new national capital. Before that the capital of Brazil was Rio de Janeiro (1763-1960). Brasilia is the 4th most popular city in Brazil. It is a city with great features. It is a center of all three branches of the federal government of Brazil, the Congress, the President and the Supreme Court.

This is the multi-purpose stadium of Brasilia. Now it is hosting the most games played in the World Cup 2014. It was built 1974 and now renovated for the world cup. It has 69,349 seats.
