You can’t lose with a Red Sea cruise

Many people are now looking at different options when considering booking their holiday. Adventure breaks, city escapes and beach retreats – we’ve all done them, but now many are exploring the delights offered on red sea cruises. A cruise is a great way to explore the landscape of an unknown country, and Egypt with its ancient historical civilisations and mesmerising landscape, is the number one spot for those looking to combine relaxation with exploration.

Pack Smart

Egypt and the sunshine: the combination of these two factors pretty much ensures most people will pack plenty of shorts, t-shirts and sun tan lotion. While all of these are the right choices it’s important not to forget sweatshirts and jackets. As crazy as that sounds there will be plenty of occasions when you could be taking in the delights of the night sky or leaving the ship in port to explore. This is when the wind chill factor will come into play or rapid drop in temperature can really hit you.

Snorkel on the red sea

The red sea is a truly unique place and it boasts some of the finest coral in the world. There are over 1,200 fish species found there with 20% of those being native to the corals in the area. Diving and snorkelling opportunities are available throughout Egypt so be sure to shop around for the best deals before you commit. With water temperatures rarely dropping below 20c there really is no reason not to dive in and experience marine life first hand.

Experience the desert

There is no limit to the amount of activities you can do in the desert. Combine a trip to the pyramids with an adrenalin fuelled quad bike safari – an unforgettable experience that lingers in the memory. For the more traditional approach why not take in the historical Tomb of Tutankhamun or simply kick back, relax and soak up the sun.
