Beauty of architecture it is not made up only of individual fine structures and facilities, but entire towns built on the tops of high cliffs or carved into the mountains. Mesa Verde the home to the ancient Anasazi, ancestors of the tribe of Puebla, is located in southwestern Colorado. The city is the largest archaeological preserve in the territory of the United States and has the status of a national park that makes part of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. The main reason for creation of this park is to preserve the works of man and protect some of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in the world. Raised in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt, Mesa Verde National Park now occupies 81.4 square miles (211 km2). There also have 4000 archaeological sites and over 600 cliff dwellings.

A trip to Mesa Verde National Park would not be a new experience without visiting one of these culturally archaeological places. If you have time, money, or even just a desire to satisfied your needs to explore, go to Colorado and visit the park. That is the only way to enjoy and forget the ordinary real life. Everything built there is worth seeing.

One of the places that will attract attention immediately is Mesa Verde Balcony House. It has 40 rooms and that actually presents “medium size” cliff dwelling. Another wonderful place is the Cliff Palace. Composed of a mixture of wooden beams, sandstone and mortar, Mesa Verde Cliff Palace has been well preserved architectural structure. If you are an adventurer and if you already have decided to travel between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, you have to see Mesa Verde Step House. It is open just on the last Sunday in May through the first Monday in September, so do not miss. There are also a several institutions and museums in which civilization of ancient people is still preserved. Mesa Verde National Park offers excitement and admiration. Also, for the entire package trip – facilities for food, fuel, and lodging are not omitted.
